Starter kit worth £650 supplied by Groomers Online
We have specially selected the tools in this kit to enable you to start grooming straight away, we have taken out the stress of choosing your own and making any unnecessary purchases. Everything we have chosen is the best in our opinion and most suitable for a Level 2/3 groomer.
Heiniger Cordless Clipper with 10 blade, Wahl Arco Trimmer, Andis ultraedge blade 30#,
Andis ultraedge blade 7f, Set Wahl steel attachment combs, Kanpeki 7” straight scissors, Kanpeki 7” blending scissors,
4.5” bull nosed scissors, Medium Showtech tuffer than tangles slicker brush, Prestige 6” comb, Undercoat rake / Ferminator,
Small nail clippers, 4in1 clippercide spray, Wahl print tool bag, Wahl print apron .
The benefits of a cordless clipper are you are able to groom where there is either no electricity or it would be difficult to access. It is also safer as there are no cords hanging around your feet causing a trip hazard the cords can sometimes also get in the way of your grooming, yes they are more expensive, but we personally prefer them, however if you don't feel it would be an issue for you, we will happily change the Heiniger Cordless Clipper for a Andis 2 speed Corded Clipper and this will deduct £100 from your course price. Please mention this when you complete our application form.
This course will be available to those who have undertaken the level 2 with us. More information to come.
For those already grooming or have recently trained elsewhere and would like a refresher day or extra tuition in any certain area of pet grooming.
There are many reasons, owners have chosen to groom their dog at home themselves, perhaps they are nervous or elderly or you have had bad experiences. We can show you how to groom your dog properly at home.
Please note although we will do our best to give you a good understanding of how to groom your pet, it is not as easy as it looks. You may need a few learning days to complete your dog grooming training depending on your experience and the technicality of the style you require. We will advise you on this.
We train on your own dog so are unable to train you on dogs under 6 months old and who have never been to a salon before, it is paramount that you have your puppy groomed from 16wks old to ensure that they are familiar and comfortable in a salon environment. Bathing your dog at home is not the same experience.
To book please call us on 01322 221124 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, we will arrange for you to come in and see us and send on the necessary application forms. Once the forms have been received, we will ask for a non refundable deposit of 20% to secure your place on the course and pay your registration fees. Full payment will be due 14 days prior to your start date. Terms and conditions apply.
"I completed my C&G level 2 diploma at Woodland Paws and couldn't think of a better place to learn. You are made to feel so welcome and the hands on approach to learning helps to build your confidence in no time. Suzanne and Chris have so much knowledge to share and the patience to go with it. They also treat all dogs as if they are their own. The flexibility of the course was also a major factor for me as it allowed me to fit the course in around my other commitments. It worked for me and I now have the certificate to prove it 😉. Highly recommend for training and for grooming." Liz Davie Recommends ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"I completed the level 2 City and Guilds course at Woodland Paws with Sue. I loved every minute of the course, all the staff and students were so friendly, I was able to learn new skills in a relaxed environment with Sue and Chris always on hand to answer any questions and offer encouragement. Every day was different with a good range of breeds of dogs which meant I was able to gain new techniques and skills. The training I received was always professional, informative and most of all with a great team of teachers and students. Thank you Sue for making my experience so positive, I would highly recommend Woodland Paws for anyone considering training in this field"
